In abide to improve services in kamwengye town council, authorities will recruit more civil servants to fil the manpower gaps.Some of the gaps to be filled include the position for a physical planner, human resource officer, engineer, enforcement officer, treasurer and auditor.
Talking to mknews link reporter last evening, the acting town clerk Kamwenge town council, Mr.David Tweheyo revealed that services in the town council had failed due to lack of important officers such as physical planner. He added that,the ministry of public service has already approved their proposal to recruit the staff that will fill the gaps in the district effectively beginning with this coming July.
He however said the district has already posted some of its staff to be in acting capacities pending approval. Basheija Edwin as the ag Accountant, Safari Fredrick ag Treasurer, Timanywa Francis ag Engineer, among others.
Kamwenge town council has had no physical planning officer since 2001 and most of the projects have no structural plans according to the town clerk.
