Residents of Miziguri village, Bitsya parish, Bitsya sub-county in Buhweju district attacked and lynched a man accusing him of being a robber.
The suspect was identified as Byamukama Nicholus 28 years old a resident of Kazirwa village who broke into the shop or Sylvia Nuwagaba at Akonde trading centre.
According to Sylvia Nuwagaba the suspect broke into her shop around 4.30am and as away of getting help she made an alarm that attracted people who beat Byamukama into comma and was rushed to Ruhoko Health centre iii where he died from.
The greater Bushenyi police spokes person Martial Tumusiime told www.mknewslink.com reporter that there are no arrests yet but police is still looking for the possible killers.
Martial warned people to avoid mob justice and said once investigations are concluded the suspect will be charged with murder and be taken to court to answer that charge
