The residents of Ryemugobora affirmed that though the village is in the middle of Bushenyi town, it has been neglected by leaders for a very long time.
Hajji Iddi Basajja noted that electric poles and wires are already at Nyakabirizi division headquarters and distribution has started today Monday May 12, 2025.
He added that unlike former leaders who would promise before voting and disappear after elections, he will fulfill the promise first and be voted later.
Other villages in the municipality that have benefitted in the project include; Rwandaaro, Matsya, Kicwamba all in Ruharo ward central division Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality among others.
Other leaders who attended the function include; the NRM chairman for Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality Muhammad Lukwago who contributed shs 7 million.
Business man God Tweheyo, who is a close friend of Kamugasha, offered a bull to the family and prayed for unity of the family of the late Kikwaya.
The parents of the baptized children, Kamugasha and Sylvia, applauded the friends who attended the party and promised to continue supporting one another.
The couple hailed Mk newslink managing director Mr. Wilber Muhwezi Kasibante and Chris Mugasha of New vision for transporting the wife to and from Mbarara to deliver baby during lockdown when no vehicles were not allowed.
