Late Rev John Wilson Barya was laid to rest today Thursday afternoon at his ancestral in Bwatogo cell, central division Bushenyi district.
Late Rev Barya pioneered in church of Uganda extensive prayer for the sick especially those suffering from spiritual diseases in early 2000s.
He was doing this at his home in Bwatogo, central division, Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality. Many people were healed spiritual diseases and canon hon Busingye Mary Karooro showed the mourners a young girl who is a lawyer now whom the late prayed for when she was suffering from spiritual mental illness.
Canon hon Karooro hailed the late Rev. Barya for getting saved and touching the public who were spiritually sick and their lives returned to normality.
Hon Karooro said that the families of late Rev Barya and Late Erenest Karooro have been one for time immemorial and promised that they will remain one God willing forever.

Mrs. Nancy Byaruhanga, the daughter to the deceased who spoke on behalf of children hailed his father for sticking to God and paying their fees on time hence currently becoming responsible Ugandans.
Being electioneering season, aspirants for different positions attended the burial. These include: Hajji Iddi Basajja Balaba for Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality, Twebaze Prosper for Bushenyi District Chairperson, Evaristo Rwambuga for Mayor Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality, Kijana man Omutuuze for central division chairperson among others.
Incumbents who attended the burial are; Jafar Basajjabalaba chairman LCV, Richard Byaruhanga Mayor Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality, Jeniffer Kekimuri LC5 councilor for central division among others.
