President yoweri Museveni has called up on students of Bweranyangi girls secondary school to get stuck to the holy bible because it will transform their lives.
Mr. Museveni said this today April 12, 2025 in a speech read for him by local government minister Hon. Rafeal Magyezi while officially opening St. Paul school chapel.
He noted that the bible instils good morals which don’t lead students to bad behaviours like corruption, escaping from school, bad performance among others.
President Museveni also in his speech advised students to do courses related to science and technology
He noted that Uganda imports a lot of commodities not comparable to its exports. He said that Uganda needs science experts to start industries and reduce on importation of a lot of products from abroad.
He contributed 50m shillings to buy chairs in the finished chapel. Minister magyezi also contributed 10m; for buying a cow to put in the farm and 4m buying students meat.
Minister magyezi on his own behalf hailed Ugandan students for appreciating peace and security achievements by president Museveni reaching an extent of buying his auctioned photo.
The patron of Bweranyangi old students association Hon. Mary Karooro Okurut hailed president Museveni and his wife mama Janet Museveni for always supporting the school.
She also hailed old students for initiating the project of st. paul chapel which was commissioned today by minister magyezi on behalf of the president.
The headmistress of the Mrs Molly Musinguzi hailed president Museveni for the support to the school. She also hailed minister magyezi for being a good representative to the president at the function.
She also hailed PTA and board of governors for working tirelessly together with OGs and parents to fund the construction of the chapel.
