The director for mobilization in the patriotic league of Uganda and member of parliament for Igara East in Bushenyi district Hon. Micheal Mawanda Maranga has revealed that for them, they will welcome president Yoweri Museveni to greater Bushenyi tomorrow Feb. 25, 2025 as PLU but not as NRM.
MP Mawanda said this yesterday in phone call to MD Mk news link.com to categorically explain their position as PLU.
President Museveni will begin his PDM tour of Ankole sub-region tomorrow in Rubirizi district in greater Bushenyi where Mawanda stressed that for him and team are prepared as PLU but not NRM.
The businessman and politician mawanda told this news website that because of the strength of PLU in Bushenyi greater that is why all the leaders of 12 districts of Ankole will hold their meeting with the president in Bushenyi town on Wednesday this week.
Hon. Mawanda is a great friend of CDF and leader of PLU, Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba [MK] and even advised his father president Museveni to release him from Luzira prison when he had issues recently.
President Museveni will also hold a rally in Rwampala district as well as officially opening a skilling hub in Kashari Mbarara district among other activities.
