The mbarara Police OC CID Taban Chiriga argues public to avoid taking law into their hands as some of the accused are always innocent but calls for use of law.
This comes as Mbarara police are investigating the circumstances under which Fred Atwiine was lynched by Mob in Mbarara town suburb Kisenyi in Kakokoba division Mbarara municipality on 10th June 2016 at around 8pm.
Chiriga while taking to journalist in his office said that Atwiine who was born in Nyabisirira-Kyenshama Kashare Sub County in Kashari South County it was alleged that he was stealing motor cycles and the angry boda-boda riders beat him up to death before police reached the scene for rescue.
Chiriga however condemns the motor cycle robbers and promised that as police they will deal with them until are all arrested and charged in courts of law.
