| By Elly Karenzi www.mknewslink.com In Ibanda The Ibanda woman Member of Parliament Jovrine Kalisa was yesterday granted bail before the magistrate’s court on charges of assaulting an NRM staff. Jovrine Kyomukama Kaliisa is accused together with two others, of assault and threatening violence. Court led by His worship Richard Nuwagira heard that on 6th and 7th September this year , Kaliisa 45, Julius Katungye 40, Nyamwiza Affra 30 all citizens of Ibanda district allegedly assaulted the Ibanda NRM deputy registrar Innocent Amwine accusing him of tampering with the declaration results . All the accuses pleaded not guilty to the offence and the matter has been adjourned to Wednesday 18th Nov, 2020 for the next hearing in the magistrate’s court in Ibanda district. |
