FAKE BANK CONS 16M FROM BUSHENYI RESIDENTS

Police in Bushenyi are hunting for two men for having allegedly stolen 16 million shillings from 85 Bushenyi district residents and they booked adverts on all the 5 radio stations in Bushenyi but they did not pay them even a single coin.

The Bushenyi District Police Commander Katwesiime  Damiano told www.mknewslink.com editor in an exclusive interview that the two were the owners of Access Financial Services identified as Kiwanuka James operations officer and Kwizera Robert.

Access Financial Services was closed by security officers after they had stolen money from the public in form of opening accounts, mandatory savings, and 10% loan commitment fee and through savings and shares.

Access Financial Services was located near Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipal council offices in Bushenyi town Bushenyi district and was closed on 21/5/2016 by security officers.

The three ladies who were working with Access Financial Services were arrested and released on police bond and they are still reporting, they also explained to police that they used to send money which they were collecting to their bosses on their mobile money accounts on daily basis.

The bank lasted for only two weeks because it had just opened on May 05, 2016.
