The town clerk of Bushenyi municipality Deo Ndimo has vowed to demolish Ishaka market that is located in Bassajabalaba town on the plot of tycoon Mbaine Zibabel former parliamentary candidate for Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality 2016 elections.
Ndimo said that he gave the occupants of the market two weeks to vacate and 2 weeks have already elapsed but they have not vacated.
“Iam now at Bushenyi chief magistrate’s court processing a court order to demolish the market in question” Ndimo said this in an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com editor and reporter at Bushenyi Ishaka Municipal offices yesterday evening.
The former parliamentary candidate for Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality 2016 Mbaine Zilibel started a market at his own plot between Total petrol station and Kampala International university teaching hospital and has been charging every trader 40,000 shillings per month and has about 200 traders.
“We need to have order in this municipality because it is not matter of everybody to start a market in the municipality because we have the rules that govern the municipality” said the town clerk.
Efforts to get information from Mbaine Zilibabel on phone were futile as he didnot answer his known telephone lines.
