Voters in the newly created Bunyangabu district have today morning participated in elections to vote for the woman Member of Parliament and district chairperson.
Peace Regis Mutuzo; the state minister for gender and culture is contesting for woman member of Parliament on NRM ticket ,Nyakaisiki Dorothy,James Ategeka Mugarama district chair person NRM and Tweyongire Silver FDC.
Bunyangabu is among the newly created districts in the country.
However low voter turn up has been reported at several polling stations and some ballots were missing.
Minister Mutuzo casted her vote early morning at her polling station.
