The Managing Director National Water& Sewerage Corporation; Eng.Dr.Silver Mugisha has revealed that he has no intentions to contest for any political seat in greater Bushenyi other than serving his people.
He told politicians to sit and do their work diligently because he is not yet ready to contest for any political office as some people may think.
Mugisha said this yesterday on Sunday of 27th August 2017 when he was a chief guest at the launch of Runyankore proverbs book at Ruharo in Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality.
The book was written by Elineo Mwine Yeremiya; the Ruharo Ward Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipal councilor.
“I’m working for my people; I don’t want to contest now in any election. Don’t see me here and think that I want to contest”. Mugisha said.
Reliable sources told www.mknewslink.com editor that the Igara East Member of parliament Martial Andrew where Mugisha is born had started dodging functions where [he] Mugisha would be invited and even complaining because of the popularity emanating from the activities he has been doing in Igara East.
He commended Elineo Mwine Yeremiya for loving his culture, arguing that the book shall automatically promote Runyankore dialect and cultures in Ankole region.
