Nakumatt Super Market; one of the famous supermarkets in Mbarara has been closed over failure to pay outstanding debts.
This follows the notice that has been attached to all doors of the super market that reads, “the super market has been closed due to non payments”. Sources say that the super market has spent quit time without paying rental tax and this forced the owner of the Building Minister Rwamirama to issue out the order to close the building.
The Super market is now guarded by the police where they don’t allow anyone to take even the photo of the notice that is hanged on the entrance.
Anumber of Nakumatt branches have been closed all over the country and it’s like Nakumatt Mbarara Branch is the one which have been there surviving narrowly.
