The State House Anti-Corruption Unit according to credible sources has implicated two senior officers at Bushenyi Local Government for stealing money meant for Kabushaho Seed School Play ground and Kanyamurera Seed School.
The implicated staff are; District engineer Kiiza Barnabas Mbonimpa and District Education Officer (DEO) Mr. Williams Ahabwe.
The above officers were implicated in the state house anti-corruption unit report on the mismanagement on the above two projects.
What shocked our source and the public is the fact that the Bushenyi District chairman Jafari Bassajabalaba who has been at the centre of the failure of these two projects was not implicated in the report.
According to our credible source, further investigations on files of two senior officers are complete and sanctioning of these files by the DPP is in the pipeline and any time the two will be arrested and taken to court on charges of corruption.
Kanyamurera Seed School was supposed to be completed December 2024 and officially open for the students in February 2025 but the construction is far from over.
Kabushaho Seed School playground work was made in a shoddy way and the district officials and the public have been complaining to re-construct the playground.
Efforts to get comments from the affected officials were futile as their phones couldn’t be reached.
