Following a fatal accident which claimed the life of Rajiv Ruparelia, the only son of uganda’s business mogul Sudhir Ruparelia, the Ruparelia family released a funeral programme to be followed.
According to the programme, Rajiv will be cremated at 2:30PM on Tuesday May 6, 2025 at Hindu Crematorium in Lugogo.
Rajiv, 35, died on Saturday morning after his car collided with temporary concrete barriers along Kajansi-Munyonyo road at Busabala Flyover junction. The car overturned and burst into flames killing the youthful tycoon on spot.
He had just returned from London and was driving to join the wedding ceremony of his friend Jonathan Bahiizi Buteera a son to former Deputy Chief Justice Richard Buteera.
Rajiv who was highly regarded as the heir of the great Ruparelia family has left one widow and a daughter.
A vigil is being held at a family home in Kololo, Kampala until the day of cremation according to family.
