Following the release of the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations results, Light Secondary School Nabubare in Bushenyi district has welcomed the results with joy and great jubilation.
According to Mr. Twijukane Benards, the school’s director of studies, the results have left the entire school administration and students speechless but only to thank God for their exceptional performance.
All the 198 students registered for the examinations at the school performed extremely well and passed with Result 1 and qualify for the UCE certificate.
Mr. Twijukane attributed to the success in the examinations to the hard work of the teachers and the candidates’ dedication before and during the exams periods.
When this publication visited the school which is located a few kilo metres from Ishaka town, the director of studies revealed that the performance is a big achievement which they cannot take lightly but needs to be maintained.
He said that though there were several challenges that came with the new curriculum, they did not deter them from performing to their best.
Mr. Twijukane added that they are determined to work hard and look forward to producing candidates with marvelous results in the national examinations to come.
“Our students, who are our first lot of the new curriculum have performed excellently well. We are here very happy,” Twijukane said.
He added; “we are happy that our students scored mainly As, Bs and very few Cs. Only two students scored E which is elementary, the lowest level in the examination rankings.”
Twijukane calls upon parents to entrust the school with students because it’s a giant school which has kept performing well over the years, especially in sciences.
