Bill Clinton Nasasira has won the hotly contested Mbarara university of Science and Technology guild elections.
Bill Clinton garnered 970 Votes against JEMA’s Moureen Katushabe who got 785 votes.
Other candidates in the race included NRM’s Martin Nuwabine who got 495 votes, Kenneth Nuwahurira independent candidate who got 444 votes and Erima Augustine independent candidate who got 292 elections.
Bill Clinton will succeed Justus Mugyenyi who has been the guild president on NUP ticket.
