Police in Buliisa district are investigating circumstances under which a 28-year-old woman died on spot after being involved in an accident.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson has identified the deceased as Falling Nyaluk, a resident of Wantebo cell Butiaba Town Council.
According to the police mouthpiece, the deceased was knocked dead by yet to be identified hit and run vehicle this morning {Tuesday} at around 10am.
According to Majid Ajaruva, a councilor representing southern ward Butiaba town council, the cause of the regrettable incident is suspected to have been a result of reckless driving and over speeding.
By press time, the lifeless body of Falling Nyaluk was in the hands of the relatives.
