Residents Of Kyabandara Ward, Sheema Central division in Sheema municipality are counting losses following a storm that ravaged their area destroying acres of of crops and property
A heavy downpour started yesterday 20.04.22 at around 4pm accompanied by strong wind that caused extensive damage to plantations and ripped roofs off homes.
Marriam Kanahe of Kibutamo cell in Mikyerere one of the residents whose roof was blown off by wind was found totally devastated with her family not knowing what to do next.
kyabandara lc4 councilor Mr Apollo Rwanyanga identified the most affected areas as Rushogashoga, Micerere,Kikongoro,katwe,kibutamo and Rwankorera all in kyabandara.
He stressed that they will write to the authorities for the intervention.
