Unknown thugs last night took away with a battery to the National Medical Stores Vehicle that was parked at Masindi General Hospital.
The vehicle registration number UAJ 200X which delivered drugs at Masindi General Hospital yesterday and spent a night at the hospital premises had no battery by today morning.
The Masindi Hospital Medical Superintendent Felix Twinomugisha confirmed the incident adding that they are working tooth and nail to get a replacement as investigations take shape.
By the time we filed this story, the vehicle was still stuck at the hospital premises, and police were already at the scene but yet to give a comment.
