Residents in Kyamugozi village, kyempitsi ward Sheema South constituency on Sunday caned a 26 year old man into comma after he was caught red-handed stealing neighbor’s hens.
Dickson Kansime was caught red handed stealing 2 hens of Ahimbisibwe Moses both residents of Kyamugozi village Kyempitsi ward Sheema south constituency.
The suspect was only saved by the area chairperson Gordon Kamuza who doubles as his brother.
According to Ahimbisibwe, the suspect targeted his hens at a time his family members were out for church around noon.
Ahimbisibwe told www.mkneslink.com that Kansiime however ran out of luck when the youngest child saw him move out of the poultry house and made an alarm which attracted the neighbors.
The residents gathered in big number and decided to burn the suspect having beaten him into comma but was saved chairman LC1.
The chairman told www.mknewslink.com that he compensated the owner of the hens and asked the residents not to take Kansiime to police arguing that the wounds themselves will teach him a lesson.
