The bodies of two boys who drowned on Lake Mutanda in Kisoro district on Sunday have finally been found dead.
According to sources, three boys Marvin Akampurira 10, Collins Sabiti 13, and Obed Mfutumukiza 10 were returning from fetching firewood when their boat capsized.
Emmanuel Baratukunda the LC I chairperson for Iremera in Kirundo Sub county Kisoro told www.mknewslink.com that Akampurira and Sabiti drown while Mfitumukiza managed to swim to shore.
He said that the bodies of the duo were recovered on Tuesday 30th March 2021 evening at 6Pm.
He is asked government to come to their rescue and provide marine support on lake to avoid such deaths which have become rampant.
