Police in Bushenyi are investigating circumstances that led suicide by drowning of a 23 year old clinical officer scholar.
The body of the deceased Gideon Ndemire a son to Mbangira a resident of Bunanura I Rushinya parish Kakannju sub county Bushenyi was found on a water pond near Glorina bakery towards Bushenyi police station.
According to the greater Bushenyi police public relations officer SP Martial Tumusiime, left a written notice at home that he was going to commit suicide but never indicated why.
SP Tumusiime told www.mknewslink.com that the deceased was identified with the help of a national identity card he left on the bank of the pond.
Mbangira who claimed his son’s body for burial before a postmortem narrated that his son left home on Saturday 2nd January 2020 and they thought he had gone to visit his friend until his body was found floating in Bushenyi water pond.
