Bushenyi Ishaka Independent mayoral candidate James Magyezi has died just now.
Unconfirmed reporters had earlier intimated to www.mknewslink.com that he had tested positive to Covid 19.
What is well known is that Magyezi had diabetes and high blood pressure.
Magyezi retired as an estates director at Kampala International University western campus, decided to stand for mayoral seat in NRM primaries but lost to Richard Byaruhanga. He came back as an independent candidate.
WHAT DOES THE DEATH OF MAGYEZI MEAN TO THE BUSHENY ISHAKA MUNICIPAL MAYORAL RACE?
The independent electoral commission led by Simon Byabakama Mugyenyi will conduct new nominations for all candidates in the race.
He has been tussling it with Richard Byaruhanga, Lucas Muhangi, Donnah Karukumiro among others.
