Bushenyi district stake holders yesterday converged to celebrate their good performance in the health sector.
The function was held at Bushenyi multipurpose hall late in the evening and was attended by health workers plus other leaders.
Bushenyi district health sector was declared the best performing in the whole country for the financial year 2019/20.
The councilor for Kakanju and Nyaburaare sub counties who is also the minister of health, education and community based services Peace
Tibakuna attributed the good performance to team work, hard work and strict supervision.
Tibakuna told www.mknewslink.com that when she took over as a minister in this sector, Bushenyi emerged the 8th then came 3rd for two years and now it has become the winner.
Ms Tibakuna who is retiring from active politics urged politicians, Technical staff and the people of Bushenyi to continue working hard so that Bushenyi shines not only in health sector but all sectors.
