An Angry mob in Busoro Sub County Kabarole district has this afternoon killed one person and injured four others over suspected cattle theft.
The deceased has been identified as James Asimwe 29 years a resident of Kirere Village Busoro Subcounty Kabarole district.
According to ASP Vincent Twesige the Rwenzori West Police Spokesperson, last night while at Mumbagane village Busoro Sub County the deceased together with other four were suspected to be cattle thieves which provoked residents to batter them, causing Asiimwe’s death and leaving four others critically injured.
Twesige says that Seven People have been arrested to assist in investigations.
The body of the deceased was taken to Fort Portal regional Referral hospital for postmortem and the four victims were also admitted at the same facility.
