Isingiro district local government headquarters have been temporarily closed until further notice.
According to source who works at the district, the decision was reached after 12 workers at the headquarters tested positive to COVID 19.
The source told www.mknewslink.com that authorities have taken samples from all other staff for testing.
Isingiro becomes the first local government to be closed in sub-regions of Ankole and Kigezi since COVID 19 broke out in March this year.
However, it was in Bushenyi that the disease was first confirmed among leaders after the district chairman and speaker tested positive to it.
