40 staff at Mbarara Regional referral hospital have tested positive for COVID 19.
Credible sources from the hospital told www.mknewslink.com that 40 staff who include doctors and other staff have tested positive to COVID 19 and are being treated at the same facility.
However, when our reporter contacted Dr. Celestine Barigye the hospital director, he refuted the news as rumors.
Barigye told our reporter that so far the hospital is still managing only 21 COVID 19 patients and only 9 medical Doctors are struggling with the pandemic.
He strongly warned the public to continue observing Standard Operating procedures such as washing hands, Wearing face masks among others.
