Independent Presidential Candidate also the Former Minister for Security Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde has threatened to sue Rwampara District Police Commander Opio Patrick for stopping his Campaign rally.
Tumukunde was supposed to address his supporters at Kinoni play Ground on Thursday 12th, November, 2020 but he surprisingly found the playground empty after his Supporters were barred from accessing the venue.
The former minister told journalists that he is considering taking Opio to court on grounds that he denied his supporters access to Kinoni play Ground when his campaign program clearly showed that he was supposed to be in Rwampara.
However, Opio said that security was beefed up in Rwampara district that day to control Traffic but they never intended to stop Gen. Tumukunde’s Supporters.
The Independent Presidential Hopeful Gen. Tumukunde is today expected to address his supporters in the districts Of Sheema, Buhweju.
