Police in Ibanda have kicked off investigations into circumstances under which a police officer’s six year old son shot himself dead.
Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region police spokesperson old www.mknewslink.com that the incident happened on Wednesday evening last week.
Kasasira narrated that the deceased Danson Bwambale a son to special police constable Pascazia Kiiza attached to Bisheshe police station Ibanda municipality picked the gun and started playing with it.
He added that accidentally, the child pressed the trigger, shooting himself on the head and he died instantly.
