Meeya John Bosco, one of the Igara East parliamentary aspirants was yesterday blocked from being nominated after he reported late at the Centre.
Meeya who was 10 minutes late for the nomination told www.mknewslink.com that he submitted his documents early before lunch time but was told to get photos.
Meeya narrated that on his way back, he was blocked by Security at the gate about 100 meters from the nomination Centre and by the time they released him, he was already 10 minutes late.
Meeya said that he had fulfilled everything required plus paying 3,000,000/= but to his disappointment, they denied him a chance to also compete fairly in the general elections as an independent for Igara East constituency.
Meeya Johnbosco a resident of Ruhumuro Sub County wanted to join the hot race of Igara East which has attracted six candidates.
