Police in Rubanda are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 43 year old man who was found lying dead with a bottle of alcohol.
The deceased identified as Jason Nsasibwoha is a resident of Kagoogo village Kashasha parish Ikumba subcounty.
The Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Maate said that the case was reported to Nshanjare police by Agaba Benson aged 30 years, a business man and a resident of Nshanjare cell,Kaara parish,Muko sub county in Rubanda District .
Matte revealed that the deceased was found dead in front of a house at Nshanjare trading centre on Monday morning 12/10/2020.
Maate said that detectives led D/Asp Ronald Baryatwijuka visited the scene and found the bottle of suspected waragi besides the deceased’s body.
He noted that Post-mortem was done and samples taken, adding that report is yet to be released to establish the cause of death.
Sudden death case was registered at Rubanda main police station under file number CRB 342/2020.
