Bushenyi police today Nov. 03, 2016 arrested Bushenyi district sports officer and two other officials for opening PLE envelopes yesterday morning before reaching schools.
According to Bushenyi district police commander Damiano Katwesiime, officials in police custody include Micheal Mbasa Matiigi sports officer, Eliot Muhumuza and Scovia Kiconco.
DPC Katwesiime noted the three officials yesterday morning while transporting exams from Bushenyi police to three primary schools of Kashoozi boarding primary school, Buyanja and Nyakabanga primary schools opened the envelops and leaked the exams.
Bushenyi district head of UNEB monitoring team M/S Elezabeth Mutumba told www.mknewslink.com editor that all the examination envelops were intact by the time they were released from police.
She noted that she was sure that the exams for the three schools were tampered with.
“Me I have worked for a long time in UNEB and therefore can’t allow such irresponsible behavior to put a spot on my performance. Am the one who discovered this mess” Ms Mutumba noted.
