The NRM electoral commission chairperson, Dr Tanga Odoi has threatened to disqualify NRM aspiring Candidates in Rwampara district for promoting hate speech and conflicts.
Odoi sounded this warning yesterday while meeting the aspiring MPs and chairpersons for Rwampara district at the district headquarters
.This comes after a row of words erupted between aspirants Molly Asiimwe and Annah Kasiime as they accused each other of spreading hate speech among the electorates.
Tanga Odoi said that many people in Rwampara County lost their lives and property in the 2016 elections due to division and hatred that was spread by two aspiring candidates then.
Odoi said this time he cannot let such happen again threatening to disqualify whoever will be found spreading hate speech.
