Police in Rubanda district are holding a man who allegedly assaulted her wife over domestic violence.
The suspect Kyarikunda Gideon a resident of Kabirizi cell Nyakabungo ward Rubanda district assaulted his wife Nyinamugisha Olivia of the same address.
It is alleged that the suspect returned home from a social evening at around 1900 hrs and found the wife (victim) at the neighborhood which annoyed him to the extent of picking a sharp panga and severely cutting her on the right side of the neck.
The Kigezi region police spokes person Elly Matte told www.mknewslink.com reporter that the victim over bled which forced the area LC1 Silver Beyaraza to alert the Police who rushed the victim to Junamagara Health facility where she is currently getting medication in a stable condition.
The Attempted murder case was registered at Rubanda main police station SD 38/09/07/2020.
