The minister of general duties in the office of the prime minister Mary Karooro Okurut has donated 4500 face masks and 2000 bars of soap to Bushenyi village health Teams in the whole of Bushenyi district.
The function took place at Bushenyi health Centre IV today 21st June 2020 and the above items were handed over to the leaders of VHTs.
The function was witnessed by Bushenyi District Officer Dr. Edward Mwesigye and the doctor appealed to VHTs to continue working hard so that they kick Corona virus out of Bushenyi and Uganda at large.
Minister Karooro promised to bring gloves on Friday next week to help health workers and other people who do health related work.
Minister Karooro has donated a lot of maize flour, temperature guns, rice and cooking oil to Bushenyi COVID 19 and she has been doing these in collaboration with tycoon Hassan Bassajabalaba the NRM chairman for Bushenyi district.
