Bushenyi district officials yesterday installed 10 solar security lights at the district headquarters to prevent the issue of darkness at the facility.
On 31st May 2020 Bushenyi district officials installed 10 security lights from the main gate, in the compound up to the main building.

According to Malik Mahab the District Chief Administrative Officer, when he came to Bushenyi in July last year, he found different challenges at the district headquarters and one of them was darkness.
He noted that the headquarters lacked security lights and police men to guard the headquarters at night adding that he talked to police authorities and security was provided.
Malik thanked his fellow technical staff who supported him in bringing up this idea to the senior management and praised the district executive committee headed by the district chairman Jaffari Bassajabalaba who supported the initiative.
