Police in Bushenyi are holding 18 boda-boda cyclists who are suspected to have murdered a 22year old and 2nd year Kampala International University western campus student Kayongo Gilbert from Kabingo village Kyamuhunga sub- county Bushenyi district.
The greater Bushenyi Regional police commander Musani micheal confirmed this last evening while in an an exclusive interview with www.mknews.com editor and reporter in his office in Bushenyi town. He said that the criminals will be dealt with by courts of law because police has enough evidence for them to be convicted in courts of laws
Musani said that these boda-boda men beat Gilbert on 7th may 2016 after he had mistakenly picked a boda boda motocycle which was not his. This happened at Gazi petrol station in Kizinda town board. When he returned it such that he can pick his, they beat him to coma and was taken to KIU hospital where he died from on 9th may 2016.
The case is registered as CBR 409 Bushenyi police station saying that the suspects will appear before court after the investigations have been completed.
