WORLD CUP 2018:
FULLTIME: FRANCE 4-2 CROATIA [Mandzukic (18’minutes og), Griezmann (38’minutes pen), Pogba (59’minutes), Mbappé (65’minutes
France has clinched the 2018 FIFA World cup title in Russia in a typical goal garole.
Despite Mandzukic’s own goal that broke the deadlock, Croatia played entertaining football in first 45 minutes but couldn’t beat the tough les blues.
However, Ivan Perisic brought hope for the Croatians with his 28th Minute equalizer before Griezman made it 2:1 with a 38th minute penalty kick.
Pogba and Mbappe sealed Frances victory in 59th and 65th minute respectively.
An error from Hugo loris gave the Croatians the second goal through Mandzukic.
France’s triumph ends the 20 years wait after winning the 1998 world cup.
