Police in Rubanda are investigating circumstances under which a 28 years old man was knocked dead by a speeding vehicle.
Byamukama Anxious of Rurengyere village Nyaruhanga parish Ikumba sub county Rubanda district was knocked dead by motor vehicle registration number UAY 114 P Isuzu while riding motorcycle at Nyaruhanga along Kabale Kisoro road on Monday evening 18/6/201 8 at around 5:30 pm.
It’s alleged that the deceased who was from Kabale side in Sharp corner, failed to negotiate it and ended riding on the right side and knocked the oncoming Lorry.
Police took the body of the deceased to Muko health centre four mortuary for postmortem.
According to Elly maate the Kigezi region police spokesperson Preliminary cause of accident is reckless riding.
