Former Rwampara county MP Vicent Mujuni Kyamadidi and former Rukungiri LC V Chairperson Athanasius Rutaro have been arrested today morning as voting for the District Woman MP goes on.
Kyamadidi was arrested from Nyarushanje while Rutaro was arrested at Katobo trading centre as he made his way to Nyakagyeme to monitor polling day proceedings on behalf of t he Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate, Betty Muzanira.
Rutaro is currently being held at Rukungiri police station.
Kyamadidi who recently defected to FDC and other party officials, have been in Rukuningiri since campaign time for teir flag bearer Betty Muzanira.
Meanwhile, an other man ave been found with pre ticked ballot papers according to Muhammad Sseirinya.
