A 36 year old woman has committed suicide in Nyangahya police cells in
Masindi municipality Masindi district.
Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Region spokesperson says that Adocrachi
Grace committed suicide yesterday night by hanging herself from the
room she had been detained from.
Hikiza adds that Adocrachi a resident of Bwita cell in Nyangahyha
division in Masindi municipality had been arrested by police and
charged with arson explaining that she burnt her own house.
He adds that the whole fracas emanated from a conflict between the
wife and the husband whom he never disclosed the identities.
He also says that the husband had told them that the wife has a mental problems.
He also notes that Adocrach was arrested yesterday evening at around
8:00 pm adding that she committed suicide at around 3:00 today morning
morning.
Hakiza says when the relatives brought her a soda in the morning they
found her when she had hanged her self-using a piece of a cloth.
He explained that post mortem was done and the body was handed over to
the relatives for burial
