The Ruhaama county parliamentary seat by- election has attracted Eight people on NRM ticked to fill the gap after the demise of Beijukye William Zinkuratiire.
Speaking to media this morning the deputy NRM electoral commission Chairman Hon. John Arimpa Kigyagi who is currently camped in Ruhaama county Ntungamo district to oversee the NRM election process noted that since the nomination exercise started on Wednesday and ended on Thursday at plot 10 Kyadondo RD the NRM Headquarters Kampala only 8 contestants were fully got nominated after presenting the required qualifications for nomination.
Among those nominated include, Adens Ntare Rutaro,Arthur Mpeirwe,Dr. Bazinzi Natamba,Eng Jackson Kabeikire Mubangizi, Kahima Moses Mugabe, Owembabazi Pamela, Rumanywa Johnson Zinkuratiire the brother to the fallen MP and Tom Rwomushana.
The roadmap
December 1st-06th: There will be campaigns
December 04th: There will be joint meeting for all contestants at the NRM headquarters Ntungamo
December 08: Polling day for NRM flag bearers in all 45 electoral areas.
