Police in Buhweju have arrested 18 South Korean nationals for treating the people of the six year old district with fake drugs among other crimes.
According to Buhweju district Police Commander Ben Nuwamanya, the Koreans were brought to the new sub-county of Enganju sub-county to preach the word of God through seventh day Adventist church.
DPC Nuwamanya added while on phone that the Koreans brought by Pastor Isaac Turyamureeba started treating people at the crusade with expired drugs.
He also said that the Koreans through their coordinator pastor Turyamureeba had earlier asked for police protection which was done and in the process of providing security police officials saw the foreigners whose president visited Uganda last week prescribe wrong drugs to patients.

“We arrested them yesterday afternoon with their pastor and leader Isaac Turyamureeba, I will give identities [names] tomorrow[which is today and even please come to Buhweju district for a photograph” DPC added.
